Frequently asked questions

How do I sign up?

NewsMapp uses sign-in with email and password. After registering you receive a verification email — please confirm the link to use the app.

I didn't receive the verification email.

Please check your spam folder. In the app you can request the verification email again via the "Resend email" button.

How do I change my password?

In your profile, enter a new password under "Password" and save. For security reasons, you may be asked to sign in again.

How do I delete my account?

In your profile, tap "Delete profile" at the bottom. This permanently removes your account and all associated data (profile, settings, profile photo).

Why don't I see any news?

Check your internet connection and your filters (time range / categories / search). During temporary maintenance the app shows a corresponding notice.
